The symlinks
  current -> fink-0.4.1-updates
  release -> fink-0.4.1
are for 10.1 users, and should be left in place indefinitely.

Also, the symlinks
  10.2/current -> fink-0.5.3-updates
  10.2/release -> fink-0.5.3
are needed for a smooth upgrade to the gcc3.3 developer tools and more
recent versions of OS X.

Other symlinks are specific to the Fink distribution.  Fink modifies the
/sw/etc/apt/sources.list file during upgrades so that apt-get points to
the correct directory (e.g. 10.2-gcc3.3, 10.3) on this site.  Corresponding
symlinks such as
  10.2-gcc3.3/current -> fink-0.6.2-updates
  10.2-gcc3.3/release -> fink-0.6.2
are intended to track the latest release which is appropriate to the
distribution.  Some of them should be updated when a new release is made.
